Detailed Restoration with Additional Enhancements completed  by Aston Martin Works Service, Newport Pagnell, United Kingdom.

The restoration was carried out using modern techniques and materials available. Modern paint processes were used to give a durable high gloss finish. The interior was re-trimmed. Finally, the car was ready to be ‘built up’ using new and refurbished parts.

A prime consideration was to bring this Aston Martin up to a level in keeping with the ‘Car for Life’ programme undertaken by Aston Martin Works Service, by using the knowledge of the past with the benefits of the future which takes the pleasurable drive to an even higher standard.

V8 Vantage 5 speed manual had covered just over 5459 miles in 35 years.
Works Completed:
Major service.
Clean and re-underseal
Mop and polish all paintwork
Replace door sills
Refurbish bumpers, window frames/surrounds and petrol caps
Re-trim left hand door trim
Replace lower wishbone bushes
Refurbish both brake servos, clean front brake discs and clean/replace brake fluid
Replace tyres
Replace all hoses– air, oil and coolant
Replace all engine belts
Clean and paint fan blades
Replace exhaust manifolds with stainless steel units
Service the gearbox 
Replace prop shaft
Tidy wiring to front inner wings
Replace rear light gaskets
Clean and replace washer fluid
Investigate heater controls function
Brake upgrade

Burr Walnut wood veneer to dash, clock surround and glove box
Top of the dash to be re-trimmed in Burgundy leather
Steering wheel spokes to be painted in body colour, with rim, cowl and centre Burgundy leather
Gear lever surround, switch panel and gear lever gaiter in Burgundy leather
Replace all glass with strong tint
